Rehearsal (Arizona-Day 3)

Once again, I was up at 3:30 this morning. It's impossible to get into the groove of Arizona time.

Yesterday, Sarah and I went to her gym again. I ran 6.4 miles on the dreadmill in 60 minutes. The last three miles I did intervals, just to help pass the time a little faster. I set the slow speed at 5.8 mph, and the faster speed at 7.0. I did a quarter mile slow, then a quarter mile fast, and repeated that for 3 miles. I'm glad I went, but I don't think I could ever enjoy being a gym rat. I like running outside so much more.

After the gym, we showered and got ready for the rehearsal. We went to lunch at a little Mexican restaurant that reminded me of Chipotle. I had two fish tacos, and they were SO good.

We went to check out the resort hotel that everyone is staying at, and Jerry and I decided to book a room for last night as well as tonight (originally, we were just going to stay Saturday night, but when we saw how awesome the rooms are, and that our friends were staying here, we added a day).

Since we were having a barbecue at Sarah's house for the rehearsal dinner, our moms spent most of the morning and afternoon in the kitchen, cooking. I had too much wine for sure, but it was so fun!

During the rehearsal, Little (that's the dog) was begging to be held.

I don't know why I look so confused... it's a simple ceremony!

Today is the wedding!  We have appointments for hair and make-up at 11:30, and then we're going to get dressed at the wedding site. The wedding is at 4:00. Jerry and I are going to fly home tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning, so I may not write again until I'm home.

  1. Have a great time! I'm planning a long run this morning, but I can't decide if I'm doing it at the gym or the track. I haven't gotten up the nerve to just open up my front door and run yet! (Looks like a Pampered Chef wine glass!)

I used to publish ALL comments (even the mean ones) but I recently chose not to publish those. I always welcome constructive comments/criticism, but there is no need for unnecessary rudeness/hate. But please--I love reading what you have to say! (This comment form is super finicky, so I apologize if you're unable to comment)
