This was taken pre-shower. Don't judge. |
While I was at Wal-Mart, I browsed around a bit, and found a couple of things worth sharing. First, something I managed NOT to buy--but it was VERY hard not to:
Very unique! I love hazelnut flavored coffee, so naturally I'd have to love coffee-flavored hazelnut butter. But I could already picture myself eating the entire jar in less than two days, so I restrained myself from throwing it into the cart.
I did buy a treat, however. Biscoff cookies! Normally, I can't buy these because I'll eat them all at once--but these are actually individual packs of two cookies each. Each pack is only 73 calories. Awesome!
While we were at Wal-Mart,
Jerry and I are having a date night tonight. My kids are staying the night with my parents, since I have to leave so early to meet Jessica tomorrow. The last time we had a date night, we ended up staying home and watching a movie in bed... oh, and Jerry painted my toenails ;) I guess he got sick of looking at my black nail! (It was totally his idea to paint them, not mine)
He did a pretty good job with them, but you can still see the black nail through the red polish. It looks much better than it did without polish, though.
So anyway, I'm not sure how we're going to spend tonight. Since we both have to get up early, we'll probably end up staying home again, maybe get a movie from the Redbox. I know, we are so much fun!
Awwww ... Noah is adorable - you are obviously the fittest person to him! It made me think of my first 5K last year, my son said he hoped that I would win - to which I assured him that I would not, explaining that there were going to be professional runners there. He was adamant that I could win it if I really tried. Kids. Gotta love 'em!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit too cute :) Now if I could only get my husband to my toes lol... have fun tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit! I tripped over a chair a couple weeks ago and it fell right on my big toe... OUCH! Anyway, it turned totally black... purple nail polish covers it pretty well! ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit. For the nail polish, try Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI. It's my favourite. That will definitely cover the bruised nail. Good luck tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLOL at the thought of you running in that grass skirt. I can imagine all the little pieces flying off as you run :D
ReplyDeleteDid you ever get a diagnosis on your knee?
I am so sorry you haven't seen the magazine yet. I was rushing through wal mart today but I had to stop and see if the new issue was there. It was! You look absolutely maaahhhhhvelous!
ReplyDeleteWe're no better. My husband is currently passed out in his chair with like 5 toys on top of him because the dog doesn't seem to understand that he's asleep. He thinks that if he keeps trying eventually he'll get the right toy that will peak Joshs' interest. Honestly, though, this is kind of better than a movie...
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious!!! Dogs are too funny!!!
DeleteCUTE! Good luck tomorrow and shake your skirt! Don't get the mocha hazelnut butter...it tastes nasty! (Did that sound convincing?) Staying home with a movie is my most fav thing to do.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit! Have a great run!
ReplyDeleteI love quiet nights with my husband. My husband calls every day right before he gets off work and asks, "What's on the agenda for tonight?" Well, we don't do "anything" but instead of saying "Same Ol' thing" we've decided to say "Same great thing!". Even though it's the same, it's great. Have Fun!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the race! I got the July/August Fitness issue on my Nook tablet yesterday (FYI to anybody who has a Nook color/tablet but doesn't already subscribe - you can do a free 2 week trial so you could get this month's issue free) so I could see your spot in the magazine - fun! There were some other good blogs to discover on the list & a couple others I already enjoy. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI love that you chose a tank top! I know how you keep saying you hate your arms, but we have to throw vanity to the wind when it comes to comfort! I actually bought and WORE a sundress last summer! I don't know what everyone else thought, but I felt cute. I'm hoping it's not too hot for you to run today! It definitely cooled off here with the storm overnight. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable but I cant imagine it staying comfortable very long. I think the skirt is going to annoy you between your legs when you run.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit! The grass skirt is going to sound swishy when you run. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit!! Can't wait to hear about the race. Love what Noah said about his mama - so sweet! Hope you had a fun date night whatever you ended up doing! We have one tonight - celebrating being together for 20 YEARS! (Married almost 15).
ReplyDeleteI went to bed at 8:45pm last night so I didn't read this til now! MUST HAVE THAT JIF. Kids are funny, love that comment.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit! Hope that date night was fun! :-) I need to check out the mag stand next time at the store - dying for your issue! Did you see that Ada saw it at the airport?
ReplyDeleteJust came across your site and have been looking around a bit. Your weight loss is so incredible!! Good for you, you're awesome. I didn't have much more to say than that, just wanted to let you know I am really impressed with what you've accomplished!
ReplyDeleteI've never had Biscoff cookies before and bought some today at Wal-Mart - I love them! They are like animal crackers for adults. :)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever had the biscoff spread? It's the "european version of peanut butter" but it tastes like the cookies! I haven't bought any for myself because I don't think I keep out of it...
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute in that outfit.
ReplyDeleteYou looked great in this months Fitness issue.. You are such an inspiration.
