I actually had her ice it and try to walk on it (as I had been advised that was the best course of action by her coach). She walked on it for 2 days before I took her to the doctor... she'd fractured her ankle and I had literally to her to walk it off! (Never listen to the coach :))<br />IKandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04115581400407797298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904256286279591900.post-66065973526966424682023-05-11T14:24:25.549-04:002023-05-11T14:24:25.549-04:00Definitely not a bad mom! I feel awful for Eli on the rest of his season though! After a week, as it continued to swell, they finally got an x-ray showing the break. The "fix" was simply some tape around my fingers. It depends on the nature of the break, but a fracture is usually a simple but painful and time-consuming Nita Sweeneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01297795209485650924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904256286279591900.post-41115393696281481892023-05-11T11:19:34.619-04:002023-05-11T11:19:34.619-04:00My brother broke his arm when we were kids (in hig...My brother broke his arm when we were kids (in high school) and my parents didn't take him in for 4 weeks, because it had separated so much he ended up with surgery and in a cast for a full year. Wouldn't you know it, it was broken! She felt awful too but it happens. It doesn't make you a bad mom. 🩷🩵Susan Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02114296174277305355noreply@blogger.com
