I had to stop running 2 years ago due to a foot injury and eventual surgery. I was panicked at the thought of not running because it was a huge factor in weight control for me. It took a while to accept that I was going to have to drastically change things in order to remain pain free. I know that I could if I wanted to, but my husband and a couple of friends and I all go out together and run/walk.
