I pulled it out of the box today and made chicken and okra. Both turned out so good. I'm thinking I might try some sweet potato fries as a snack in a minute. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00020467421579165253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904256286279591900.post-22530546259898667402016-12-28T21:10:57.952-05:002016-12-28T21:10:57.952-05:00I'm making yogurt in mine now. For yogurt, I just heat the milk to 180F, let it cool to 115F, add some plain yogurt, and put it in the IP for 8 hours. Then I strain to make it Greek.<br />Recommendation is to get a seal for the sweet foods and use the one that came with it Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15712430993256174578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904256286279591900.post-2863741392545078402016-12-21T15:05:09.796-05:002016-12-21T15:05:09.796-05:00I've had a pressure cooker for a couple of yea...I've had a pressure cooker for a couple of years. I look forward to seeing what you make. I'm still learning mine and it's definitely a learning curve. But everyone I know loves theirs and has no regrets. You set the timer for 4 minutes on the Instant Pot, but it doesn't start counting down until it reaches the right pressure inside. Rice and quinoa mostly but yesterday I made hot apple cider in it (basically quarter a bunch of apples, fill with water and some spices and slow cook all day.)
