I buy diced tomatoes that are no salt added. The label just says "tomatoes." For a quick and tasty tomato sauce I heat on the stove 1-2 canned diced tomatoes, a clove of garlic, a TBSP of minced onion, 1/2 tsp of oregano, rosemary & thyme and a pinch of salt. I used to make them by baking the potato, then after cutting them apart and scooping out the potato, I'd deep fat fry the skins, before filling them with bacon, and cheese, then broiling them to melt the cheese.
