You need a heart rate monitor that you can connect to your phone with blue tooth. I'm not sure if there's another way. You have to download an app called Pear and then on that app there are different workouts. You can select the one to figure out your heart rate zones. Then a voice talks you through running and Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08584053153035873191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904256286279591900.post-43059869948121007392016-01-25T10:44:09.722-05:002016-01-25T10:44:09.722-05:00I listened to a podcast with Matt Fitzgerald last ...I listened to a podcast with Matt Fitzgerald last year, a few months before this book came out. It has really changed my view on running - and my racing!Alihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05167876068675834895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904256286279591900.post-15077769927810809592016-01-23T22:32:21.077-05:002016-01-23T22:32:21.077-05:00Just ordered the book - guessing this darn blizzar...Just ordered the book - guessing this darn blizzard will slow the delivery down a bit! I am following a training plan right now that's adapted from one in Runner's World. I would say that it's roughly 80/20 in its general structure. I am afraid now my "easy" run would be me shuffling down the street, but I am plugging away and will get back to where I once was.
